Today resulted in a monster headache from staring at computer and TV. I barely sat through “House,” because otherwise I would have to wait a week for the episode to pop up on Hulu and then with Advil and an ice-pack on my head I went into my dark quiet room to avoid all possible stimulation to my brain. It was not a migraine, just full frontal lobe revenge for modern technology and my addiction to it.
House S6E13. The episode itself was good. Not great, but good and I did enjoy it. I knew that Lucas was behind the pranks once House established that Wilson couldn’t have taken down the guardrail. But that was because the actor’s name was in opening credits. Before this episode I really didn’t care about Lucas one way or the other, he is just an obstacle. But his actions in this episode were really cruel. So in revenge for Wilson and House getting Cuddy’s “dream apartment” he put in a wild animal, takes away a guard rail that a disabled person uses so that he really hurts himself in a fall, causes sprinkles destroy an entire apartment including a flat screen and then pratfalls a cripple. That was beyond pranks, that was really cruel. When House fell in the bathtub I was concerned there. And based on the previews for the next episode Lucas is an insensitive bastard that Cuddy needs to drop soon. The medical story was OK and having Foreman’s brother there was interesting and brought good elements to Foreman who is usually boring. Can’t wait for next week’s episode from Cuddy’s point of view.
