bearshorty Grimm S1E15 I was about a third of the way through the episode when I remembered that the sister, Rosalind, I think was meant to be a recurring character. Which made me cheer. I really like her. I like her with Monroe even. She is not stupid and she is intriguing and she hit the guy on the head with a brick and rescued Monroe. I’m really glad she is staying; this show needs more female characters. What was up with Wu in the end, eating the cushions? The overeager refrigerator repairman with the guilt and pie and door and basket was really funny. Juliet is so skinny, her faces continues to freak me out. I don’t mind her anymore but she is hard to look at – she looks like a skeleton.
After trying to do anything on my Sony again and failing, I just sat down and ordered a new laptop. I’m getting a Toshiba this time and I went for $450 one, which less memory – since it is still a lot more memory than I ever use and I will spend $150 less than the other version I was looking at. And since computers now have a tendency to break so much faster, I feel good about that decision. I hate doing this – I really could have spent that money on something else. I also decided to spend $100, get a new LCD screen online and follow those YouTube videos that show how to replace your screen. That way maybe my Sony can get more use and I’ll have a backup laptop or something. I can’t risk just fixing it first; I do need a laptop now, especially since I need my Powerpoints and lecture material when I teach. And I don’t like being in front of the main house computer, on a chair. (I like to sit on the bed and use my laptop). I really, really hate this whole situation.. Anyway, this is my new laptop .
In the afternoon, I went for a walk and bought a few lottery tickets since the lottery is so ridiculously high right now. I obviously didn’t win, I just matched two numbers. But it is fun to be part of the craze sometimes.
