bearshortyIt is a very rainy day. I’m postponing going to the store to get milk and orange for my cranberry bread until tomorrow but it will probably rain then too. At least I didn’t have to go to work today.

A fun article on Media and creation of Black Friday , according to Cracked. Sometimes you need humor to really appreciate the situation. I refuse to shop for Christmas/New Year presents until December and whole commercials promoting Black Friday just seem crazy. And I never met anyone who bought a car as a holiday present.
“Stephen Fry In America” is on Neflix Instant and so I have to watch it, of course, since he is brilliant. I really enjoyed the first two episodes – he shows America and its diversity and vastness rather well.
Leonard Cohen is releasing a new album, “Old Ideas”! I’m very excited. Jan. 31, 2012. There is a song preview – his voice is even deeper. So good.
