I don’t remember most returning villains in “Burn Notice” and always have to look them up to see what they did before. I knew the villain in the last episode was on the show but I didn’t remember when.
I graded my finals, now I just need to finish grading all the papers tomorrow. I put on Gregorian chants as the background grading music today. Then I discovered a Sarah McLachlan CD I forgot I had, with some good cover songs.
I started reading Philip Jose Farmer’s “To Your Scattered Bodies Go.” I like it so far. It is a bit coincidental that the first 20th-21st century person Burton meets is a fan who read all his writings and can even quote from it. Burton is an interesting character, though and I really like the concept of this book and thinking though how people would react to being resurrected and having to survive somewhere strange.
I’ve been working on my HL fanfic every night this week for a least an hour without exception. This is definitely the longest fiction writing I ever done. It is already more than thirteen pages. I’m almost done. I think there is just one more section left and then proofreading. I just wanted to see if I could finish it. It is not brilliant writing but I just like putting it down on paper.
