An article on email misunderstandings, and why our communications are better by phone:
I was playing lotto (Russian bingo) with my parents today - I don’t like games that are dependent on luck too much.
Finally saw SYTYCD episode from last week. I won’t recap it. There were some nice dances but nothing I will remember in a month.
For the last couple of days we had a heat wave, the weather is in the 90s with bonus humidity. I went for a walk late evening, it was nicer then.
“Outsourced” Papa’s friend recommended this a while ago and I finally got around to watching it. It was a very nice movie about an American in India, send there to train his replacement at the call center who is at first very resistant and in cultural shock. He ends up learning and making friends. It was fun, nice movie and leaves you with a feel-good, happy feeling. And I like the ambiguity of the ending too.
This article is about the longer dating patterns of today – apparently Bear and I are like a lot of people in our generation who date for a decade. That is actually interesting to discover – although Lily and Marshal in “HIMYM” have a very similar relationship and history as us, they were the only example I knew of the relationship like ours, and they are fictional.
