bearshortyFor some reason, the 12th of this summer stand out. In June, it was the musical or actually I remember most the night before, sleepy on the train with Bear’s amused face looking down at me. In July, it was the hospital waiting room. And now, just marking time.
“A Family Wedding” Wow, it is not funny and offensive movie. And the jokes are very very stupid and badly telegraphed. And who wouldn’t know Spanish curse words? This movie is really a waste of time.
Highlander. “Reasonable Doubt” Duncan is super rich – it is easy for Immortals to get money. Just have long-term back investments. I can’t believe that this episode went to the places it went – incest and a creepy immortal picking up a child pre-immortal in very unsavory connotations. This is was cool episode in that it shows what happens if a bad immortals finds a new one. And it raises questions of personal responsibility vs how society raises you. Not the best execution but the concepts are there.
“Finale Part 1” I’m glad that Amanda rescues herself. Back to Kalas, he is a good threat. And the problems for the watchers are just multiplying. As I mentioned before, this show knows how to do two parters really well.
SYTYCD. Finale. Lauren won! I do feel a little bit bad for Kent. But in this season, so heavily focused on boys, having a girl outlast them all and win is just wonderful. And it was fun to see so many good routines of the season.
