We are having the most awesome weather for March. It is sunny, blue skies and 58F. The air is still a bit cold but seeing the sun shining just makes me happy. It was nice to go for a walk.
I started a new cross-stitch project. It is again small and will look like travel postcards with a giant butterfly on it. A bit girly but it does evoke adventure. It takes some time to set up before I can start stitching. I have to use my masking tape to bind all four sides of the fabric. I also have to find a center because all projects start at the center and work their way out. And then I have to sort all the treads. Threads come usually in bundles to be sorted for color. I then have to wrap each color around a paper holder and put identifying mark on it. It is fun to see what colors the project will have. No blue at all for this one – it is mostly tan, brown and orange.
