30 Days of Me Meme
Day 19: A company/business that you boycott
I don't boycott deliberately but there are places I won't buy from or won't eat at, and it is not always because of their political stance. There is one restaurant I won't go to because they had terrible customer service a couple of time I did go. And there are companies I would boycott but I don't have them near me like Hobby Lobby.
30 Days of Fanfic Meme
19 – When you have bunnies, do you sit down and start writing right away, or do you write down the idea for further use?
I usually get the plan for the overall story - I might not know the middle, but I know the main time period and setting and the theme of the story. And I usually know what all the scenes should be. But I rarely start writing the same day. I do write out my plan and/or outline and ideas. Then at some point in the future I write. Once I start writing, the more I write, the longer I can write for. But it takes me a bit to start writing. Two summers ago I was writing an epistolary fic - I usually write on the computer but with that story I wrote by hand, as if I was writing actual letters to get into the flow. I got inspired to write the first letter the day after the prompt - the fastest I started writing. Sometimes weeks or even months can pass before I write difference sections. For my latest story, I wrote the beginning the week of the prompt in June, the first part by the end of June and the next two parts only in September.
