Day 15: Your extended family
There is my husband and my daughter. My parents and two grandparents (my father's parents).
On my Mom's side: My Mom's older sister (by 7 years) lives in Belarus with her husband, two grown up children and two grandchildren (age 15 and 12). I was very close to my cousins growing up; I call them my brother and sister (in Russian, first cousin is "second level brother or second level sister", so I just shorten it). My brother (cousin) is only 6 months older than me so we grew up together until I moved to America. We Skype with everyone a lot.
My Mom's cousin lives in LA with her husband, daughter, son-in-law and a granddaughter (age 5). A few of Mom's second cousins live in Boston and Chicago with their families. We talk to second cousins once in a while but are not particularly close. My mother once made a family tree - her grandfather was one of 11 children. So I can trace all known descendants but I don't know many of them.
On my Dad's side: My Dad has a younger brother (by 7 years) who lives in NJ with his wife and has two grown kids. These cousins are younger than me. I was close to them when they were kids and we just moved to America - they immigrated before us - but then they moved to NJ and we are not particularly close now. My Dad and his brother are not very close either. They do talk periodically and they like each other but they just are not that close. My Dad's mother was one of 5 kids - 3 are still alive. All of them and their descendants moved to America. Most live in New York and there are a couple cousins in Chicago. We are closest with Dad's youngest cousin Lenya who lives not that far away from my parents. He has an 8 year old son who is a pretty fun kid. I had a very small wedding and from that whole family side I only invited my uncle and his family and Lenya and his family. (and my grandparents, of course)
On my husband's side: his parents, brother and his girlfriend, his sister. His grandmother was one of 9, so there are a lot of cousins and it is a pretty big family. We are not really close to the whole extended family but I do know and talk to a few of the mother's cousins.

15 – Warnings – What do you feel it most important to warn for, and what's the strangest thing you've warned for in a fic?
I do understand the need to warn for sex, violence and dark materials - so people don't stumble on something they are not ready for or don't want to read. I can't think I had any too strange warnings, maybe "too much fluff".
