bearshortyThe weekend was uneventful, considering. Bear and I offered to come over to his parents' house this weekend to help out but his Mom didn't really want any visitors right now, which is understandable. We are going there for the wake tomorrow. Bear will head out earlier but I have to go to work first, and then I will take the train to Long Island.
Bear is doing ok. When his Grandmother first moved out of her house to the nursing home, that was a difficult moment for him. So he was adjusting to the idea since then. I think because this was expected, it just makes it a little easier for him. Grief is such a weird and personal place.
I mostly spend the weekend commenting on rough drafts and history papers too. We did go for a very nice walk yesterday, so that was good.
