bearshortyIn the morning I did tons and tons of photocopying. Technically, if you have a big batch, you supposed to put in the order with the department secretary so she could use a bigger copier. But I always forget and I copy everything for the week on Monday. I also rather just do it myself. Today I was giving the writing class in my Global History, so I needed a lot of handouts.
What I always don’t get is when, for example, I go over what a topic sentence is and then I ask if they have questions or I need to go over it and no one talks. But then when I go check their drafts and I mention that they needed a better topic sentence in a certain paragraph, they look at me like it is a brand new information.
In my law class, I gave an exam today, so I spent it grading my writing papers. Our class is in the attic and right new door is a music classroom. As I was giving as exam they were singing for a bit which was annoying to students but I didn’t think I could do much. But then the teacher turned out the pre-recorded piece very loudly. I went next door and since she was facing away from the door and the music was loud, she didn’t hear me. So I made her jump when I touched her to get her attention. At least she did turn the music down.
