My parents and I went to Brooklyn this morning to go to Brighton’s bookstore and to visit my grandparents. On the way back I got out of the car early to go to the library since online system told me my library card expired for some reason. It took only a minute to reactivate. Then I stopped up the Comic Store since it was Free Comic Book Day. I got a couple of free comic books and had free cake.
Sandman is going very slowly for me and I wanted to read something else so I tried “A Canticle for Leibowitz.” I’m loving it. It is like a medieval world set in the future. I won’t have much time to read it, so it would probably go very slowly but I’m finding it very amusing and entertaining. And since I can read Latin I can appreciate the nuances.
