bearshortyI really need to get my computer checked out. I don’t want to get another one but it has been messing with me. My screen doesn’t want to stay steady – I need to hold my computer in certain positions. And it is getting worse.
I had lots of student meetings after I finished grading those last six papers. Onwards to Paper 3 grading this weekend. Today was just a long day. We did a discussion of Boyarin in class and I had better ones in the past. Matt, one of my best students, came up with the thesis of the fourth paper just after class. He and students like him give me hope. I’m throwing them an easy question for Paper 4, asking them how physical symbols matter in personal identity.
