bearshortyIt is my favorite day of the week this semester. Mostly because I use it to decompress after a long week. I did mark the Response Papers for Global but in general I take it pretty easy, especially after a long grading day like I had yesterday. Yay, Friday.
Bear picked the invitation style online. So we are going to order them tomorrow.
Grimm S1E12 I love the developing mythology of the show with the Captain and his apparent kingdom and now a church. I also really like that I couldn’t piece together where episode was going since I completely forgot about the previews until half way through the episode. So I felt like I was in the same boat as the detectives. And it was very suspenseful. And creepy. And I’m not usually a fan of horror but I’m really loving this show. Poor, Juliet. And the only thing that this show really needs is more female characters. Nick and Monroe continue to be awesome. Monroe so needs to interact with other people in Nick’s life. They can tell people they are friends, can’t they? Next episode was the original end to the order so it should have some big mythology issues.

I wondered about why they haven't really told people they're friends - is it because Monroe was a suspect in the Red Riding Hood kidnapping in the pilot? Surely since he was cleared it wouldn't have been an issue. Is Nick afraid of drawing attention to his involvement in the supernatural aspects of their recent cases? Even though Nick's mentioned Monroe to Hank in passing, it's more a tone of "I know a guy who can find out about 'xyz'," rather than "my friend Monroe". Hmmm...
