bearshortyI basically worked non-stop from 7am to 4pm and then I took a small break and worked from 4:30 to 6:15. I commented on 30 rough drafts and taught two classes. Overall it was a very productive day. But very tiring, especially as I had to get up at 6am and I didn’t sleep well.
I was listening to my iPod on shuffle pretty much all day as I was commenting. It was actually helping me concentrate for those hours of grading. I don't think I ever listened to music for that long at one time but it did engage parts of my brain.
I did watch “Grey’s Anatomy” in the evening to unwind.
Throat started feeling scratchy in late afternoon – no! I really hope it would go away.
