Jan. 4th, 2014 10:00 pmAnother low key day. Last night a library borrow request of "The Cuckoo's Calling" - the mystery novel written by J.K. Rowling under a pseudonym - came through. So I downloaded it on my Kindle and been reading it last night and today. It's really good - I'm enjoying the humor in it and the mystery and the characters are pretty interesting too. I'm about 20% in right now.
I caught up on "Grimm" today - which had Russians in the middle of the story, which is always funny to me.
Bear came home in late afternoon and we had a game night today. We mostly played "Connect 4" and magnetic darts but we did get "Zombies!!!" table game for Christmas that we are going to try out soon. I'm not in the mood for it tonight but I am looking forward to it. (I rock "connect 4" but Bear actually managed to win one game today - which is great too. I won 3 and we tied 1) We also have a game called "Pandemic" which is a game where all the players need to cooperate to win or lose together - I really like that. We are slowly building a nice collection of games.
