Dec. 17th, 2010 10:17 pmThis morning we packed and got ready to leave Montauk. As became our custom we had a pancake breakfast at one of the diners there before heading back. I think I overloaded on syrup.
The trip back actually passed really fast, there wasn’t much traffic. It was a really nice vacation and a break from everything. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer.
I’m about half way through the first Riverworld book and while some of the prose is stilted I know already that I will end up reading all five books of the series. I just love the concept. And I’m getting obsessed with the historical characters. I want to read some of the exploration books that Richard Francis Burton wrote (they are in the public domain, so once I get to that it will be easy to get at least).
“The Kids Are All Right”. Because this movie got all this hype I was expecting more of it. It dragged a bit in the middle but I did like it. It was a nice movie but it was not something I would watch more than once.
