Apr. 30th, 2010 11:00 pmSome pictures of the oil spill off the Louisiana coast.
How cute is the graphic “Clustershag to 10 Downing” for British elections on “The Daily Show”. Ah, a month long election. How I wish we had this here.
Ok. This is weird and can be analyzed in all sorts of ways. US troops in Afganistan do their own version of Lady Gaga’s telephone .
Act II of Hamlet. Polonius, and his wandering speech, is really funny here and so is impatience of Gertrude’s and Claudius’ part for him to get to the point. That is why Shakespeare is always better live.
Jim Butcher’s official fanfiction policy rocks.
I went to the health center today. My bladder issues were not getting better. So I got some antibiotics to take and on Tuesday I’ll find out if it was an infection or just irritation. I really don’t like taking any prescription drugs and all of this just annoys me. And if this keeps recurring I might have to be on antibiotics for a while, which sucks.
I went to my local Stop and Shop to get the antibiotics, since it is free there, and Neighbor Kid tugged along with me. She just chatted nonstop. It did strike me that even at eight years old, she is already aware and concerned about weight and body issues. I think her Mom is modeling this a bit. This is really disturbing. Next Tuesday I will teach the Kid fractions, as her Mom wanted some extra tutoring for her and offered to pay me.
