bearshortyIn the morning, before we left for Brooklyn, I finished up the outlines for the Monday’s lecture and Powerpoint. Germanic law tomorrow and the various barbarian tribes.
My grandmother is doing much better. She is speaking better and is back to the usual self of everything is fine, nothing wrong here, feeling great. She does get tired after a while, but a definite improvement over last week.
Bear came over after 1 and we had a relaxing day together. We played badminton (and had to fish the birdie out of a tree), took a walk along the shore, went to the seasonal Halloween store, and got take-out at the Chinese/East Asian place where I got Japanese Udon noodles and Bear got Korean rice cakes. In the Halloween store, it was good to see that the children’s costumes this year tones down on being ‘sexy’ which was really disturbing last year.
I’m in a bit of a melancholy mood lately.
I finished watching “Jane Eyre” 2011 movie. Beautiful cinematography. Good adaptation. Michael Fassbender is really good in it. I really noticed him this years in all his movies.
