Today we went into Universal Studio’s Park – the regular one. We had breakfast at home. I woke up at 6:30 to book us a shuttle so we could leave at 7:50 again. Again today was a nice hot sunny day, but not humid – so really nice for me and a little hot for Bear but fine with some water.
Unlike yesterday with Islands of Adventure, by the end of the day I felt like I got through a whole park and really didn’t need more than a day there. And we did lots of rides and shows. This park is more audience oriented – more shows and 3D type rides. Still lots of fun, of course, just different. Bear did the red roller coaster that takes you up vertically first (I know my limits) and he did the Mummy ride because I wasn’t sure about that, but everything else we did together:
1. Shrek 4D (What do they think 4D means? Very silly name) – it is a 3D show, pretty cute. Bear got his Mom a t-shirt with Donkey on it.
2. Simpsons ride (no wait the first time we went on it – and we went twice) – this was my favorite ride – a motion car and projection – that is a type of rollercoaster simulator I can do and it was really really fun.
3. Men in Black – shoot some aliens. It was ok.
4. Jaws – ok too. Really depended on acting of our ‘driver’
5. Disaster – movie making ride. Great hologram – really hard to tell it was one. A long wait in hot sun to get in, though.
6. Hollywood make-up show – funny presenters
7. Twister
8. magic show -with levitating cards and coins. I got picked for the card trick.
9. Terminator 2 in 3D – a combination of live action and movie with 3D effects – I enjoyed it – much better than the last Terminator movie.

At the end of the day at the main store I bought myself a Ravenclaw baseball hat. I’m really glad I did too.
Another 12 hours in the park, and my feet are killing me but it was so worth it. We did decide that for our last day at Universal (we have 3 Day ticket) we will do the Islands of Adventure again – but not until we take a break for a day and do Disneyworld.
