An article from New York Times about a high standing basketball executive coming out – really well written and moving article.
House S7E22 I liked this episode. All three stories involved main characters very closely and that helped. I liked how they do the right thing and insist on it - Chase in taking the woman to the hospital, Thirteen in turning her in at the end, Cuddy in taking House to the hospital. The moment when Thirteen tells Chase that he can’t relate to her having killed someone, and he goes “let’s get coffee” – that was great – everyone on House’s team ends up killing someone for noble reasons. House telling Cuddy that he trusts her, aw. And all Rachel stuff with the pirates. I couldn’t watch the self-surgery, I even watched the prep through my fingers – I can’t watch stuff like that on TV at all, so this episode was really high on the gross factor. But I liked the quietness of it, just one night that really changes things. And Wilson physically supporting House at the end and House recognizing that something needs to change was a very nice moment.
Cross-stitch: I finished the pink balloon and I started on the yellow one.
