bearshortyIt was a very long day and I was tired by 5:30 when I was done with giving the last final exam. I graded papers all day. A day and a half of the semester left.
I called Prof. S. this morning to make sure the department knew about the plagiarism case. I’m meeting with the student again tomorrow at the office of the athletic director, not that it would help the student. I think he thinks that because he is an athlete, this issue would be magically fixed. Maybe he would more likely to understand the seriousness from a male sports guy authority figure. This is not the most comfortable situation but I’m not backing down here.
Cross-stitch: all the rest of dark purple. I’m going to be cross stitched out by the time this is done for a bit.

13. Do you have any unique interests on your user profile? What are they? How'd they get there?
Not really. I’m a pretty regular person in general.
14. What is your favourite subject to discuss on Dreamwidth?
I generally use DW as my journal so I talk about my day. When I get to read books I do like writing about that and I like writing about the TV shows. But I think I like writing the most about travelling and when I actually do something outside my routine. With pictures. Last May-June when I went to Minsk, I did love coming back and posting about it. The same with New Hampshire last August and Montauk last December.
15. What 5 things are you obsessed with currently?
Other than real life and finishing this semester? Fannish stuff I guess: Torchwood, Remus/Sirus fic. Watching the whole Christian and Syed arc from ‘EastEnders” on YouTube since that is such unexpectedly great dramatic story, cross stitching the blanket. Can’t think of anything else.
16. What are you glad you did but haven't really had a chance to post about?
Nothing really. I generally post about what happened in my day and I’m on track with it.
17. How many people on your reading list have you met IRL?
Just one, the person who gave me the invite code. I know her for almost eight years and she is one of my best friends and, other than Bear, probably knows me the best. And she is very awesome. My closest friends from high school don’t really know about the fannish side of me or read and watch the stuff I read and watch. Other than that I don’t know anyone else in person but I wouldn’t mind meeting people. If anyone wants a guide around New York, don’t hesitate to ask.
18. What don't you talk about here, either because it's too personal or because you don't have the energy?
I don’t talk about relationship stuff too much, whether emotional ups and downs or sex, because that I do consider private. Other than that I’m a pretty straightforward person. I write more about what I do rather how I feel, but that is how I am usually.
19. What are you most interested in reading?
Science fiction. Books of all kinds (not romance though, I have fanfic for that). National Geographic. News. I love reading.
20. Are you involved in any fandoms? If so, what are they?
I was a lurker for a very long time and only in the last year I started actually writing some stories. I write Highlander, Harry Potter or Torchwood usually although I do want to write a Voyager story at some point. Other than that I just read fanfic, I’m not really involved beyond that.
