bearshortyIt is a first time in weeks I had time to do chores. I finally went to the bank and did some shopping for our Passover feast tomorrow. My bank is ridiculous. The bank tellers are always making mistakes. They put the deposit in the wrong account again. I know to always check the slip to make sure the account is right. Seriously, bank tellers, it is not that hard.
“Game of Thrones” S1E1 I fell in love with “Rome” and all the characters from the first episode. The same with “True Blood.” I really enjoyed “Dexter” With all those shows and I knew right away. “Game of Thrones” did not get the same reaction. I think it is the characters – except for Peter Dinklage (who is always awesome and has great lines here), I don’t really like most of the people here. And there are no standout women characters.
It was fine, I could follow it but the first episode did not enthrall me. I will give this show more time to see what develops. First time I saw “Battlestar Galactica” I didn’t really like it. It took a rewatch for me to get into the show. And other shows grew on me like “Torchwood” which I adore to pieces now but its first season was shaky. So for now my verdict is uncertain. It wasn’t bad or anything and it had some moments, I wasn’t bored, I just don’t find the characters interesting yet. But I do like complicated universes and I do have hope this show might grow on me.
