bearshortyI graded in the morning and printed gazillion things like Paper 2 assignment and in class exercise 4 on the different accounts of the First Crusade. And a few people actually came to my office hours.
The thing with grading this week is not that I just have to grade my usual 42 papers, I also have to give comments on this rough draft. So I go back and forth. I did take care of some rough drafts in class, but there are just many. At least they are shorter and I don’t have to grade them.
Today was the lecture on Crusades. While Crusades lecture is short on Paper (it is only 4-5 pages and my normal lectures are about 8 maybe) – I always run out of time because I have so much to say usually. It is more of an outline. And it is one lecture where most students pay attention – they are very interested. So as usually I had a great time teaching it and I will even have to finish it on Wednesday.
I read the first chapter of “Hunger Games” on Amazon. I’ve been hearing things for a while. I put it on my wish list so maybe I’ll pick it up for my birthday. I really have no time to read right now other than school stuff. (and fanfic since I can’t help myself and I know I need to do actual work)
Yay, June 10 is all set for my Broadway birthday present. Bear just told me to keep the evening free. I’m excited.
