Today in class I showed the first 15 minutes of the “El Cid” movie - 1961 one with Charlton Heston and Sophia Loren. It is very amusing for its 1961 cheesiness and evil guys who are very evil and dramatic overacting. I’m showing more next Monday. I don’t know if I will have time or patience to see the whole three hours epicness of it but I’m very tempted.
