bearshortyIn the middle of the night I woke up to my right hand being completely asleep. This is the second time I remember this happening. I wasn’t sleeping on it or anything but it was just asleep, no circulation. I slightly panicked as I moved it but thankfully within a second I felt the blood flow return. I guess it was lying wrong. Still, really weird.
I graded one history class in the morning on their in-class exercise 2. Not too bad. Didn’t have the energy for the second one, I will need to do that tomorrow. I’m blaming Tylenol for sluggishness.
So I did manage to speak for three hours in two lectures but I don’t think my “Rome” lecture went over too well. Mostly because they seem to be bored by politics and Rome lecture is nothing but politics and some Punic Wars. And it is too complicated to go over in one class without confusing them. In one class, I tried to ask what separates a Republic from other types of government – wanting to get at a lack of king – but that idea never occurred to them. Well, next week I start lectures on religion so hopefully it would go over better. I think I will re-write the Rome lecture next time I teach it.
I want to cross stitch but I’m not going to this week. I know germs won’t survive or anything but I’m making the blanket for the baby and I don’t want to send sick vibes into it.

I finished my February fanfic story. I think it was a little better in my head than on the page but at least I wrote it down. Now I need to come with an idea for March.
