bearshortyThis morning, right before I woke up I had that sensation of holding an object in my hand while I knew my hand was empty. This time it was a phantom apple. My brain knew logically that I was still sort of sleeping and there wasn’t an apple but I felt I had one in my hand down to the curve of the top stem. Only when I flexed my hand that illusion faded, just like I knew it would. This happened before occasionally and that is always a weird illusion.
Leverage S3E14 -16 “Ho-Ho-Ho Job” Nate and Sophie as parents giving presents to the kids. Parker was very cute in this episode. I loved that Chaos used the team for his evil plan and that he delights in evil so. I laughed outloud when Chaos was voicing Eliot’s reactions and Eliot’s look at that.
“Big Bang Job” I really liked the first half of the episode before the whole thing devolved into a cartoon with Eliot shootout. The first half was suspenseful especially with Eliot using his own name and history with the bad guy. And I hoped the show would follow up on pretzels comment from Parker.
Last episode- ok, finale –good resolution for the bad guy and great mocking of the political system. I was about to be happy at the end when Nate and Sophie talked about being friends when that obvious final reveal happened. I just don’t care. I’m glad the storyline with the big bad is over. This show needs to stick to a caper per episode without an overarching storyline.
Burn Notice Season 4 E17-18 Finale. That last episode was intense. Not the Charger! Fi’s love for Michael is so intense. Michael was so cold to her in his very single minded mission and he was ending it but she just refused to let him. I really didn’t know where the story was going and even if I sort of knew Michael and Fi would be OK I was still worried. Sam coming in to save the day was awesome. In the last two episodes we are really seeing some of Michael’s flows and some not so great characteristics; which is good not to have a perfect character.
There were riots with police in Minsk today because of people protesting fraud in the latest election. Not that it would do any good. (Watching “Leverage” episode about elections and riots was a bit surreal.)
