One of my school library books has been recalled and I can’t find it anywhere. I looked everywhere in the house. I will try again tomorrow. I need to go check on the library shelves, sometimes books do turn up there. It has to be somewhere – this is one book I actually use a lot for reference.
“Highlander: Endgame” Well, I watched the movie. I knew the plot from reading a lot of fanfic so it was nice to see the actual scenes. I really liked the scenes of Connor and Duncan together and it was great to see Methos and Joe. Kate’s character was totally unnecessary – she didn’t do much other than be the love interest – but at least her story shows some poor decision making on Duncan’s part. I’m glad she really called him on it too – you really shouldn’t kill your wife on your wedding night, and you shouldn’t take people’s choices away from them. At least he realized that he was really in the wrong. Mac has a history of making decisions for women for their own good – at least Tessa called him on this all the time and wouldn’t let him. This is such a boy movie – women didn’t talk to each other. I did like the movie, mostly because I love these characters but one thing really bothered me. Yes, Kell took a lot of quickening but Duncan took really strong ones like Kronos and Grayson. And I’m sure both Methos and Kronos had more than 660 kills in their 5000 and at least 3000 years of their lives. And Kell is the strongest immortal based on just the number of kills? And more skillful with a sword? During Duncan and Kell fight I kept thinking that Mac’s fight with Kronos had a sense of much more danger. I did really like the goodbuy of Mac and Connor – that played really well.
