Cross stitching – I’m almost done with this project (‘The Good Book’ one with a bear reading a book on a toilet). I’m doing back stitch and I probably just need one more day to finish it. I have to do a lot of grading in the next three days so I don’t think I would have to time until next weekend, but it is almost there.
I watched “Lost in Austen” tonight since I was avoiding grading for as long as possible. I liked it. It was a silly romp. It did very much feel like Austen’s world. I’m not analyzing it too deeply. It does make me want to rewatch 1995 “Pride and Prejudice.” I think once the semester is over.
Highlander S6E10. I’ve been putting off finishing “Highlander” because I really had little interest in the episode without any main characters. I finally made myself watch this episode tonight. It wasn’t terrible but it had a predictable villain and a storyline and any flashback set in England in middle ages I always can pick apart without getting into the story. I kept thinking to 1270 is a bit late to set the crusade collection in, even though Edward is going on one. And that taxation doesn’t work exactly like that. I did like Kate and her husband but I really just wanted to get through this episode to get to the last three.
