Today is a Bear day. He brought a big fruit basket with him that his parents sent to Papa. There were so many fruits and nuts in it, it was a big insane. We sent some fruit back with Bear.
Bear and I went to Best Buy to look at camera’s and prices. I need a new camera and rather than just shop online, I figure I go to actual store and see the prices and how the cameras feel in my hands. I liked a few cameras and I think I have a general idea of what I want.
After Best Buy we stopped by at Michael’s to get thank you cards, since we should really send one back to thank for the fruit basket. Generally I find the idea of thank you cards silly, but sometimes they have their uses. I bought regular white black ones and some yellow ones with a dragonfly on it.
We also stopped by McDonalds to get some ice-cream, which is the only thing I get there now. And we stopped by the comic book store. Then we went to the beach and walked a bit.
At home we watched a short “Bears” documentary, which was a bit silly but there were some cute animals in it. Alaska is really pretty.
The best part was watching “Not the Messiah. (He’s a very naughty boy),” which is “Monty Python’s Life of Brian” with opera singers and philharmonic accompaniment. It is ridiculously funny. I need to get a CD of it. ‘Life of Brian’ is already my favorite Monty Python movie, so this musical extravaganza was a treat.
