I'm baffled by the fact she's bored by monkeys... I always find them so entertaining. Unless you've got boring monkeys, of course. The step in the reptile section sounds like a lot of fun! :)
My mum used to love telling me a story of the first time she and my dad took me to the zoo. Apparently the first animal we came across was an elephant, and I would have a tantrum anytime they tried to to move. My mum ended up having to go and find something else to tell me to come and see To this day, I can still spend hours standing and watching the elephants.
I hope Tanya has such fond memories of these trips as I do :)
