Day 6: Thirty facts about yourself
1. I wore glasses all the time from age 6 to 12 because of farsightedness. Then my vision corrected to 20/20 until I was about 19. And then it went the other way and I'm nearsighted now.
2. I'm a Gemini
3. I'm 35
4. I'm the only child and I always loved that
5. I love tea and don't drink coffee
6. I lived in London in 2000 for a semester for Study Abroad and again in 2005 for about 6 months doing research in the National Archives.
7. I lived in Norwich, England for 3 weeks.
8. I lived in Toronto for 6 weeks.
9. I can read medieval Latin paleography (shorthand Latin)
10. I'm fluent in Russian and English
11. I can read Latin, French, Italian and Belorussian
12. I've been to Universal Studios and Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida
13. I love to travel but don't do it as much as I like. I like both museums/cities/historical sites and beaches.
14. I love to read.
15. I cross stitch.
16. My exercise of choice is walking or rollerblading
17. I always loved school and looked forward to September
18. My favorite month is October
19. I majored in history on college.
20. I taught history and English writing in college.
21. I moved to New York from Minsk in 7th grade

23. I collect coins.
24. I've seen the Grand Canyon and the Niagara Falls
25. I learned to ride a bike when I was 11
26. I'm afraid of dogs
27. I like theater and Broadway and opera and classical music. But I also like British rock and a lot of alternative bands.
28. I finished college in three years instead of four because I took a lot of AP classes in high school (classes you can take in high school for college credit) and I wanted to save my parents' money.
29. I'm not visual at all and can't really draw well but my analytical side is super strong
30. I rarely wear make up and I didn't color my hair until I was 32. I can leave the house 15 minutes after I wake up because I never spend a long time on a 'beauty routine'.

6 – When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?
I don't think I have a preference. Writing a male or female is the same to me in terms of how I write. They are just characters. I end up writing more men just because I like many slash pairings. But I never deliberately thought about it.
