bearshorty This article was making me very emotional early in the morning. It is about conservative policies in schools and their effects on bullied gay teens.
On the other hand, Go, California!
We did close reading of Faludi in class today. I picked a passage with a lot of historical information and it was a little hard for them. They just couldn’t pick up on how the first three sentences really set out the purpose of the paragraph. I think I came up with the assignment question for the next paper. I want to run it by another Professor first – but there was no one in the offices despite it being a Tuesday. I’ll finalize on Thursday. I will ask “Why does cultural change attract criticism?”
Glee I like that the immediate reaction of everyone who hears about Finn and Rachel’s engagement is a big “No! Are you crazy!” Kurt’s speech to Finn was fabulous as was the slumber party. Will is going to be a history teacher! With no prior knowledge. Or that is fun. Santana calling him out and his general poor Spanish skills in general were hilarious. And they finally clarified that Sam is staying with Finn and Kurt. And Emma making it perfectly clear to Will that she can take care of herself and is actually competent at her job!
