bearshortyIn the morning, I put together the Paper 1 assignment for my Global History class. The paper is on Equiano book and when I suggested on Monday that they should start reading it as we will discuss it next Wednesday (so 9 days to read it), someone wondered in a shocked voice if they had to read the WHOLE BOOK. Yes, they have to read the whole book. That is what you do in college. Today I was basically teaching my history students how to write a paper and made citations. I think it went really well – I hope they really got citation. I do like having just one class to teach on Wednesdays. It is nice.
One girl did come in for the help with the Map Quiz but otherwise it was pretty quiet.
I spent my office hours pretty much chatting with Abena. She showed me pictures of her wedding and we had a fun conversation. I really like having people at work I can just talk to and be friends with.
