Nov. 9th, 2016 01:20 pmThis day feels surreal as I'm still processing the election results. I'm sad and worried and nervous for the future. It's not just Trump win; Republicans will also control Congress and he will appoint many to Supreme Court. And he is very unpredictable. I have to hope for the best, or at least hope it won't all turn to chaos. Last time we had Republicans fully in charge we got involved in two needless wars and economy tanked.
It also looks like Clinton will win the popular vote, which is ironic because 4 years ago Trump went on Twitter rampage calling for a revolution when it seemed that Obama might not win the popular vote, before it was clear that Obama did.
When I went to vote yesterday, I got weirdly and unexpectedly emotional when I got the ballot and was about to fill it out. I hope my daughter will get to vote for a woman president some day and see her win.
I stayed up to watch the results on my phone and got more and more anxious as the results came in. I turned it off by 12:15 all but knowing Trump would win and I could barely sleep. I really really hope the next 4 years won't be terrible.
