22 – Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favorite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you've thought about doing? And if not, why not?
Yes to both fest and Big Bang. The Big Bang was a small one - 10,000 words - it was a Historical Big Bang. I wrote a Highlander story about Methos called A New Life or Something Like it , which I based of my medieval history research and a real archival case.
I also do RS Games (going on right now!) and RS Small Gifts, which is probably my favorite one. And a few other small ones. I like writing for fests - I do well with prompts and deadlines. I don't think I have a favorite experience per se - I tend to enjoy the whole process. I like having more comments than I usually get. Ok, I just thought of my favorite experience - the first time I did a fest, I got a comment from one of my favorite authors. She is simply amazing and her comment made me so very happy.
