"Wolverine" turned out to be a very stupid movie. I really enjoyed the last one but this one was paint by numbers where the plot didn't really make sense but I could still figure out what was happening ten minutes before it did. And the main 'romance' made no sense. Not to mention the red headed girl was much more interesting than the damsel in distress. And Logan did not really earn that redemptive, 'I'm ready to live again' ending. Only the post-credit scene was interesting. I'm disappointed but Bear and I did have a good time making fun of it. Like when one character wants to tell something important to another character but the second character needs the first character to start driving and for some reason they can't talk in the car but have to wait until they arrive at the destination.

I spent most of the day grading midterms and back to work tomorrow for me. I wish Spring Break was longer and so do probably my students.

I made Beef Plov (Beef Rice Pilaf) yesterday which came out really well. Next time I want to use chicken instead of beef and curry instead of just cumin but it is a good recipe from the trusty internet.
