Jun. 10th, 2013 11:11 pmI was just cross-stitching while listening and sort of glancing at the Tony Awards on my laptop. I really like seeing different musicals on that show to pick what I want to see next year. And the tiger on the bib is coming along too.
Today I spend a day in the pouring rain, petitioning. I got really into it in the second half of the day - I'm surprised at how much I like talking to people, even when just want to disagree. My legs are pretty tired today, so it was nice to just sit on the couch in the evening. And when I came home, Bear was making salmon paddies (very delicious). I wasn't thrilled with the rain and cold today, but overall, it was a good day. And I picked a prompt for RS Games too.
Yesterday, Bear and I drove to Long Island. His mother turned 70 last Thursday, so yesterday was her birthday party at this buffet brunch place. The food was so good and there was just so much of it. Breakfast food is the best. We mostly talked to Bear's godmother Mary and her granddaughter who is almost 13. After the brunch we went back to Bear's parents' house with some other guests, until about 8:30. We gave as a gift some Bath and Beyond products and a gift card to a salon. His Mom has such trouble accepting presents - she thinks everything is too much. At some point, you need to just accept birthday gifts.
