Well, Yom Kippur is over and this year it went pretty smoothly. I basically watched a lot of TV all day: I watched two “Angel” episodes and Papa and I caught up on the last three “Doctor Who” episodes. And I also cleaned up some boxes and shelves of my stuff in my parents’ house and packed more books and DVDs to take with me.

I wasn’t really too hungry and I didn’t get a giant dehydrated headache this year – so that was a win. The last two hours were the hardest, just because they moved slowly but overall, it was one of the easiest fasts I’ve ever had.

I didn’t have to go to work today since I set up my Law class with a library class (and I talked to Tim the librarian on Monday about what I wanted ) and my Global class with a peer review session. And since I didn’t have work and I wanted to sleep late – less time awake and hungry – I ended up sleeping for nine hours last night – that was very nice.

As the fast ended, we had a nice dinner and then my parents drove me home. Bear is on weird schedule this week, so he is home Tuesday and Wednesday and will work the rest of the week until Sunday. (Which I found out after I made plans to go to my parents’ for the holiday. Originally, Mama was supposed to drive me back on Thursday morning, but this way at least Bear and I got an evening together before his crazy schedule starts.).
