After morning of reading rough drafts for papers and re-reading Roper’s chapter of Reformation, I had a really great time in my Global class with the student presentations. And I read Roper a long time ago, enough to forget the details, so it was like reading a whole new book.

One of my students in Global class did his paper on history of jazz, so for his presentation he brought a really fancy keyboard to class and played some stuff for us. It was very entertaining. He played a classical piece, then put on his sunglasses and played some early jazz and then some other jazz styles. He did the history of it too.

The other presentations were fairly entertaining too – I think the class enjoyed it. We still have presentations on Monday.

I was very happy once I got done with my three hour class. Because of all the holidays, the school pretended today was Monday, which meant two three hour classes this week – argh. But since half the class was peer review rough draft, it wasn’t that bad. Only presentations left in this class too.
