Apr. 2nd, 2010 11:00 pm“Angel” Season 4 is much better on the second viewing. The first time we watched it, some of it just went on and on with no breaks and too much bleakness and it was my least favorite season (Season Five being my favorite). However, on rewatch, it is much better – knowing the whole story helps. And some things don’t annoy anymore. When I first saw “Firefly,” I liked it but I didn’t love it and it was much better and more interesting on the second viewing. This probably means that I will slowly but surely rewatch all of “Angel” again, barring Season Five because I had a burned copy of that season on DVD and can watch at any time. Netflix is evil sometimes.
Watching the Jamie Oliver show about changing food culture sometimes just reveals horrifying view at our bureaucratic ridiculousness. French fries apparently count as vegetables in the high school food requirements. Yeah.
I went shopping for my part of Seder ingredients for tomorrow as we are gathering at Marianna's for our annual celebrations. I'm really looking forward to this.
