Sometimes Papa’s over-protectiveness just drives me crazy and with advent of new technology he has gotten worse with it. He wasn’t this concerned when I was a child and running all over the neighborhood and forests. But my parents grew more crazy about this with age and new faster ways to connect. First time I was in London in 2000 they only called a few times a week and I emailed maybe twice a week at most and when I travelled all over Europe I checked in maybe every four days. When I was in London in 2005 I had to email them every day. I suspect in the future and with Skype it will get worse. But what drives me crazy now if Papa’s refusal to let me walk from the bus stop to the house by myself after it gets dark. It is maybe a ten minute walk in a very safe neighborhood but he insists on picking me up. Which causes a problem if I want to stay out late, like I’m planning to do tomorrow, since my parents generally go to sleep early and I feel like I will make Papa not sleep his regular schedule. Mama is actually a bit more practical at this but Papa won’t listen to my arguments. Well, I should be used to this insanity since this is coming from people who got me a cell phone many years ago because I went to a bar in the evening and they couldn’t reach me after nine thirty or ten pm and they actually got in the car to drive to my campus in a panic mode before finally I got home and got their message.

Bear is working on a Joker model and he put up animatics today on his site. I like actually seeing what it will look up when it is finished. I need the visuals.

My stomach acting up in the evening for some reason. I don’t think I ate anything unusual. I just want to be fine for Manhattan day tomorrow.
