I still feel sick for some reason. Not sick enough for it to be bad but on that edge of having a cold where my body doesn’t know how to feel. My voice and throat got tired after lecturing for almost three hours but I don’t really have a sore throat. I do have a slight temperature and headache but Advil helped a bit. So did lots of tea. But I really just want my body to decide what it wants. Lots of sleep tonight is needed.

I finished grading exam 1 this morning and then went up to school after an early lunch. Today’s lectures were on Rome (which I finally figured out how to streamline) and on Investiture Controversy. I do get more tired when I have to do different lectures, one right after the other, than doing the same lecture twice. Local College actually has Columbus Day off, so I’ll get a little break from history next week, right in time for folder review for writing classes.

I got “Thor” from Netlix today and my parents wanted to watch it too so we watched most of it. We’ll finish it tomorrow. It is a fun movie if you don’t think about it much and just enjoy it as a popcorn movie. The mythology element really appeals to me. Loki is fun and scheming nicely which really fits him (and of course he could have dark hair in contrast to ‘good’ gods). So entertaining movie but really can’t be taken seriously at all.

Steve Jobs died today. He was 56. He changed the world. How many people can say that? Eight years with pancreatic cancer is actually a long time and he did wonders with that time.

Ugh, that ‘in-between’ sick and not sick is so frustrating. I hate when it goes on for weeks… Like DECIDE already please! I hope you feel better soon and were able to get lots of sleep!

entertaining movie but really can’t be taken seriously at all. Agreed! I really enjoyed the film, but exactly for the reasons you listed—just something to sit back and enjoy and not really ‘think’ … (:

He really did change the world – I was actually surprised he died, but I didn’t know he had cancer, so sad really.
