bearshortyIt is really cold now. I’m sure it is not as cold as in some places but the wind makes it hard to go outside. We only left the hotel in the late afternoon to drive down to the Hamptons because I wanted to see gigantic summer houses. Some had serious hedges going. We did stop by a beach right at sunset; it was great timing and very pretty. Too cold to enjoy for too long.
Bear and I also made dinner (sausage in tomato sauce with onion, zucchini and pepper over linguini) and we had “Nightmare Before Christmas” on in the background. I love the songs.
In the bright holiday news – it's Highlander Holiday Shortcuts time – one week a year for lots of brand new Highlander stories from the best writers. I only got into this fandom this year so this is exciting. Maybe next year I'd be brave enough to participate.
