Since I got my Kindle back from Bear I can get back to reading Thomas Hardy. I just love his humor and his prose. But I have a feeling it will take me a while to read this book.
We had guests today – Papa’s best friend from high school and her husband. We had lots of food and even went to the beach where I rollerbladed despite the heat. We also had the Women’s World Cup (soccer) in the background as one of the guests watched it very intently. He would yell loudly at certain point startling us. It was fun.
True Blood S4E4 They are going with the book storyline of Belfleurs being Bill’s descendants! A bit awkward for Bill, since he slept with Portia. I loved when the characters realized this since I figured that was coming when they started listing ancestors. Eric and his interactions with Sookie continue to be wonderful – from being drunk on fairy blood to Sookie calling Alcide to track Eric to Sookie lying to Bill for Eric and Eric being sad about the daylight. They are doing a good job here. Witches storyline is a little weird – when Marnie was cursing Pam, though, I was yelling at the screen since I was afraid they were about to kill Pam. So Jason got away and got saved by Jessica. He recognized the crazy in Crystal, so that is good. Luna’s ex who is a werewolf will be a problem for Sam: I wonder if it will be a werewolf from the books. I actually felt sorry for Tommy when he got captured by his gross dad. Don’t know what is going on with Arlene’s baby and that creepy doll. And show, excellent job with having Alcide and Eric in as little clothing as possible.
