“Aftermath” by Jim Butcher. A novella set after “Changes” in "Side Jobs". Really good job in getting into Murphy’s head. I enjoyed this aspect very much and I read it very slowly to prolong being in this universe. Murphy is now forming a team to do Dresden’s job as the protector of Chicago. This story really shows just how much she learned on how to deal with magic. She is trying really hard to keep it together and she really wants to hope that Harry is still alive. It is also good to see Will and Georgia all grown up and now having a child. Hendricks is so becoming my favorite secondary character who is just in the background. The little things about him – in this story is that he was a college football player and the little side bet he had with Gard. In “Even Hand” it was him just sitting there working on his thesis and he is the only one who could really express his disapproval to Marcone’s face with just a look. I hope one day we get inside his head too. Can’t wait until April for the next book.

Interview with Jim Butcher . There are spoilers for “Changes” and “Ghost Story” in this interview, so beware.

I might read “Infidel” too, together with “Neverwhere” because it really hits the kind of stuff I like to read. I read the introduction today and I hope I find the time, I want to finish “Neverwhere” first.

Bones S6E5 Things I learn from “Bones”– keeping the toilet seat cover down when flushing is very important. Twitch! It is good to see you but you should stick to dancing, you are not the best actor. I like that Hannah and Bones are friends. I’m glad the show is going this route. Bones made her choice and she wants Booth to be happy. How I wish it would stay that way. I liked the episode except for the end when Booth suggested that a woman can’t kill a man just for money, that some sort of relationship was between them. Really, Booth? Women just have to have romantic motives? Shakespeare scene was ridiculously awesome; I will have to rewatch it tomorrow.

I enjoyed "Aftermath." It was nice to get in to Murphy's head for 120 pages or so. She's one of my favorite characters in the series. *tap, tap, tap* I'm impatiently waiting for April.

I didn't realize that Bones was new this week. I thought we had one more week off. Thank goodness for Fox.com
