I still woke up with a really heavy head from all the adventure yesterday. In the morning, I was determined to still make it to Marianna’s gathering but about 11:30 it became apparent that I should stay home and I’m in no shape to go anywhere. I really need to be OK tomorrow for teaching and next week for writing and that means rest today. My headache is occasionally a migraine headache and sometimes just feels like someone is squeezing my head. Palpitations last night did not help.

Despite my heavy head, Bear and I still managed to have a decent day together. We hung out, watched “Friday the 13th” in the spirit of Halloween (and in the special features the writer pretty much admitted that he copied “Halloween”). It was a pretty decent scary movie, although the inability of any victim to do anything but scream was annoying. We also managed a small 15-20 minute walk and Bear practiced a little Russian with one of my children’s book. I even introduced him to “Dexter.” Now, I will just get an extra long sleep and hopefully my head will feel better and I can teach tomorrow and get through the day. And I need to stop over thinking it all.
