TV in 2019
I think 2019 was a pretty good year in TV. I didn't watch that many network shows in real time: 3 dramas (Supernatural, Flash and Supergirl) and 2 comedies (Modern Family and Good Place). Three of those are coming to an end this spring, which is probably a good thing. I do prefer having the whole series at once rather than watching one week at a time.
Most of my other shows I saw on Netflix, or PBS or ask my Dad to procure them from some Russian sites the provenance of which I do not ask about.
I also saw a lot of comedy specials this year - Ali Wong was my favorite.
My favorite shows this year were "After Life", "The Crown Season 3", Good Omens and Chernobyl.
Doctor Who S11 was a lot of fun too and so was Star Trek Discovery S2. And I really loved "The Witcher" too, although I finished it in 2020.
Orange in the New Black S7, Stranger Things 3 and Agents of Shield S6 were enjoyable to watch. "Letdown" was pretty amusing.
I was disappointed with American Gods S2. But overall a pretty good TV year.
