I was feeling blah all morning and I wasn’t sure I would even leave the house to go anywhere. But Bear called and reminded me how much I was looking forward to the movie and that I should stop moping. And around 1:30 I figured, why not. So I went to see “Beauty and the Beast in 3D.”

I’m not a fan of 3D that much. The landscapes looked really beautiful in 3D, though. And it was interesting to see a drawn 2D characters move in 3D – it was different than just a computer generated movie. But after a while 3D doesn’t really add much. I was just happy to see this movie on the big screen. I completely forgot the very violent ending to this movie where the Beast is stabbed pretty graphically and Gaston falls to his death. One of the girls watching the movie said upon Gaston’s death: “He deserved it because the Beast didn’t do anything wrong.” She was very adamant in that defense. But I really adore Belle out of all Disney princesses because she always stands up for herself (when he yells and rages, she doesn’t just accept it) and she loves books and the library is the best key to her heart. And they get to know each other a bit – it is not instant love.

Sherlock S2E3 This episode is very clever. I like the title pun too. Even knowing Sherlock was faking his death, just like in the story, this was hard to watch. Poor John. Especially knowing that all that grieving (and Martin Freeman killed in this) was not necessary. The end made me very sad. I’m glad the Moriarty story is over or at least I hope so – I’m not fond of insane villains. I do think this whole season was a long con by Sherlock and Mycroft to draw Moriarty out. But Martin Freeman deserves all the awards. He made me cry.

“Bachelor Sherlock Holmes – what are they implying?” “No one can fake being such an annoying dick all the time.” And holding hands – which reminded me of “Angel” episode with Angel and Spike. Go Molly! For once, she is not a fool and she helps. Kitty had potential but was mainly a pawn. And if you see your door’s been broken through – you really should not go in at all. I will need to buy this Season too when it will come out on DVD. Great season despite Irene Adler thing.

Back to work tomorrow. I need to pack my bookbag. I teach in the afternoons now and I won’t be done until 6:20pm – it will be a long day.
