White House Correspondence dinner and Obama’s mockery of the birther issue and Trump was hysterical. I liked the Lion King and Obama making sure Fox News knew that it was a joke.
Doctor Who S6E2 That continued to be creepy. Stephen Moffat can definitely bring on the creepy in all his episodes. The transmission during the moon landing, really shocked me – Doctor just put humans forever at war with the Silence. Oh, River, the realization that it was the last kiss – just devastating. Although, she did say that right before the Library he took her on the last sightseeing tour so it might not be the last. I think she just thinks it is the last kiss. I really love River. She shoots rather well. The end was a bit weird. So that is Amy and Rory’s future child who can regenerate because she’s been in the Tardis? Maybe. The whole pregnant/non-pregnant was weird. Are they in two timelines at once? And last season the season revolved around Amy’s wedding. And this season is about Amy’s pregnancy? That seems a bit sexist. And the speculation on Canton was right in all respects – gay and dating a black man in 1969. I just thought it was the first one. Nixon as comic relief was excellent. Moffat is getting a bit too complex in his storytelling – there are way too many questions at the end of it.
mar_see_ya made me icons with my username. They are so pretty.
My neighbor, whose paper I proofed this weekend, gave me two free movie tickets as a thank you. I will probably save them for the new X-Men movie.
I was watching “Brothers and Sisters” which had an excellent episode (which I will have to finish tomorrow) when the show was interrupted to announce that Bin Laden has been killed. I don’t know how to feel about that. I should stay up and watch the presidential address but I need to grade more.
I also need to stay away from the internet until Thursday afternoon, other than checking my email because of upcoming folder review.
Cross stitch: pumpkin color of giraffe head and neck and big bear’s head.
